Noah's Ark Learning Center
and Rainbow School

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these."
- Matthew 19:14

Our Mission

Our goal at Noah's Ark Learning Center is to join in the endeavor of our families to love, encourage, and strengthen our children as well as to enhance the development of their lives spiritually, emotionally, socially, and academically.

Our History

The Noah's Ark Learning Center operates as a ministry of the Burleson Church of Christ.  Formerly known as Christian Child Care, this began as a Mother's Day Out program in 1977 and then expanded to a full time licensed child care facility in November of 1986.

Our Programs

The Sunrise program is a full time child care program.  The program serves children ages 6 weeks through Pre-Kindergarten.  We also offer a school age program for students through the fifth grade who are enrolled in a Burleson I.S.D. elementary school.  The tuition for the Sunrise Program includes the cost for two snacks and a lunch each day.  Breakfast is also served from 7:00 - 7:30 each morning for an additional cost of $1.00 per day.

Our Rainbow Programs serve children ages 3 years through pre-kindergarten. the programs begin in September and follows the Burleson ISD holiday schedule. The programs conclude during the month of May. Rainbow I meets 2 days a week and Rainbow II meets 3 days a week.

Our Curriculum

The curriculum goal at Noah's Ark is two-fold.  First, we want to introduce and share with the children stories and moral concepts found in the Bible.  This goal  is accomplished through a weekly Bible story and chapel program that includes songs, stories, prayers, and puppets.

The second goal in our curriculum is to provide age appropriate learning center activities that will promote growth and assist the children in developing the skills necessary to be successful  as they enter elementary school.  We feel that it is equally important  for us to model and teach the social skills (i.e. sharing, getting along with others, encouraging, etc.) necessary for success as your child grows.
